I can say here in Florida and our wonderful laize-faire, service based
economy, we are very short of pediatric specialists and families have to
drive 5-6 hours for services for their special needs kids. Little preemie
baby I'll working with starting next week hasn't had proper care because
mother with medical condiditon finds it difficult to keep up with the
paperwork. So, tell me how our medical system is working for this family?
I've had two families go bankrupt this year to give their children medical
care (working families both). I've got another mother who can't work
because there is no other care for her ill daughter.
I'm lucky, I'm my services are privately funded by a service organization.
Oy, it's a hard stressful year this year...
Beth t the OT voting with my conscience...
