I do much prefer word processing, but WordStar always seemed possessed to me. Somewhere, some code would be wrong, and I'd spend hours trying to get a paragraph out of italics or 4 pt font or something. Fortunately, WordPerfect had come out by the time I was in grad school, and you could ALT F3 to see where the screwy codes were. Woohoo. ;)
