Peter, I plan to do just that when I get home from work today.  It's
amazing that this author can safely hide behind stating that McCain
"implied" a position.  Does that mean that if a candidates doesn't come
right out and say, "the sky is blue", then that means that he/she
implies, "the sky is green"?

It's hard enough figuring out where candidates REALLY stand on issues
without having to view them through the "yellow" lens of modern
journalism.  

Love or hate John McCain, you gotta give the guy credit for being blunt.
I'm still not sure what Obama's stance is on many issues that are
important to me.

If no one holds them accountable for reporting the truth there may be
more benefit to reporting what fits their agenda, or the agenda of
whomever they are beholding to.  I hope you wrote a letter to the
editor and "cc'd" it to the editors of some peer level publications?
