Hi,
I wanted to let everyone know that the firmware upgrade to version 2.0 on 
the tmv71a installed without a hitch.  It makes menu 111 available which 
allows you to adjust the transmit audio.  Before installing the upgrade, my 
transmitted audio was low because the mic sensitivity was set to medium and 
with the older firmware, the only way to change the mic level was with the 
kenwood memory management software.
