Hi
I hear astonishingly few signals here on 2 meters and 440 to say nothing of 
220mhz.
Oh certainly there are lots of repeaters but they don't get lots of use. 
there were times that commute times meant that most repeaters were busy. 
That is no longer the case in my quiet corner of the world.
