Hmm, this makes me wonder if I really want to spend the cash on the TS2000 
in april when I read something like that.

I do like contesting, and I like the idea of working on six meters and two 
meters sideband and cw.  I'd rather have the added seventy cm band as well, 
but if the recieve is that much better on the Icom, then I might just 
sacrafice some accessibility and one band for better performance overall and 
even a lower price tag.
