Yes, the control head attaches to the front of the radio, or you can 
detach it and buy a separation kit.  The cool thing is you can flip the 
control head over so the speaker is either up or down, it attaches 
either way.  Has a short pig tail cable behind it that actually makes 
connection to the radio.
