It does show high SWR on some bands.
Also consider that it was designed for use with its specific L/C network,
and that it also was designed for use with old gear using what we call over
here 'valves' and you call 'tubes'!
Which tank circuits were more forgiving.

I know the G5RV is a compromise antenna at best, so maybe the high-sounding
SWR readings aren't a problem, as long at the auto-tuner can still make the
radio happy. Am I correct here?
