I think you're right about the menu setting, but since I've sold mine to get
money for the new TS480 I've ordered, I don't know the menu item either.
Maybe it's in the "initial set" menu". ... That's where I'd start, and then
try the more general "set" menu.
Again, I agree that it's not a problem with the radio.
