I screwed up a bit in my discription.   After removing the lower 10 foot 
section, if you really want to break  the remaining 16 foot section down, 
remove the lower wire clamp as discribed previously, then  remove one more 
machine screw and nut  to remove another  section of tubing.   It won't be 
6 ft and 12 ft sections  I mentioned before, more like 5 ft. and 13 ft.



Again, I would just put the  lower section with all the expensive coils and 
caps in the house and  lay the remaining 16 ft.  section flat on the 
ground.

Of course, you also need to remove the screw and nut at the base   where the 
coax center connects to the antenna, so you can pull it off the  fiberglass 
insulator.
