Hams are like everybody else. Some good people, some shmucks. All you need
is one. I learned a lot about apropriate social skills hanging around our
local ham club. If you pick your nose and rock, you can expect that people
will be uncomfortable with you. If you listen and learn and contribute time
and energy, you can expect good reception. Don't wine, or focus on your
blindness or helplesness.
