Hi.

More would be ok if the FCC would go back to limiting the number of 
stations that one company could own.  I think that Clear Channel and 
Entercomm are big enough, they don't need any more stations, especially 
since they have demonstrated that they are woefully inadequate to the task 
of programming the stations that they already have.

That is the real problem.  The American public got royally screwed when the 
FCC decided to let corporate broadcasting buy up as much as they wanted, 
and allowed them to pretty much program whatever they wanted, no matter how 
redundant or offensive.

Also, the FM band is getting pretty full in Western New York--there are no 
open channels without interfering with something already on the band and we 
are seeing these low power FM stations popping up like a teenager's 
zits.  And they are just about as welcome.  So, what I would propose is 
let's open up 76 to 88 MHz, and move the low power jobs down the band and 
clean up some of the bedlam.
