Phil,
The danglies would look great with the cowboy hat and boots.  You 
know, thought, to be truly biblical, you can't go to an ear ring 
place and use one of those cute little guns, you're supposed to use a 
nail and a door post.  I suppose that you could use a little rubbing 
alcohol afterwords, to keep it clean.  Good luck with that!
