Sharon,
Very poetic but very true. The other day I was getting a glass out of a
cupboard in the kitchen to get a drink. We have a one gallon container
which purifies the water. You hold your glass under a little faucet handle
and the water that has already passed through the filter, drops into your
glass. So, as I was getting down a new glass, I was thinking, praying on
the fly, actually, and I told the Lord, "I'm not asking to be perfect before
going to Heaven because I know that isn't required since you are perfect in
my behalf. But," I said, "I would like to be as free as possible, for some
reason, of everything that might hinder me in my relationship with you down
here on earth before going to live with you in Heaven." Sort of a strange
feeling about it and a strange way of talking about it but the way you put
it, Sharon, is how I felt.
Phil.
