Our physician is unable to explain why the tTG IgA levels would be elevated
other than "gluten ingestion." The levels have been in the normal range for
a long time, 0-19 per the lab we use. This time, the level was 77.
My question is as follows:
Has anyone had any medical experiences where their physician has given a
detailed explanation of why this level would be high. Gluten ingestion is a
no-brainer. However, 6 months ago the level was 6, which is within the
normal range.
TIA.
