Hello there,
My 3 1/2 year old daughter was diagnosed with Celiac in February and
one of her symptoms was numbness in the feet. Since going GF, most of
it is gone. I took her to a neurologist and she received an exam and
passed with having no obvious nerve damage. The neurologist although,
would like to do an EEG and an EMG just to check everything out. I
really don't want to put her through the trauma of an EMG, and I am
wondering if anyone else out there has been through it or put their
child through it, and what your advice would be. Even if there is
nerve damage, I know there is nothing to do about it. It is just to
know. She has been through so much already, I just don't know if it
is worth it.
Thanks for any information.
Alex L.
