I'm not the expert on the new cereal, but several people responded to my earlier post to tell me that there is no Rice Chex R, that the r is just a symbol of being registered...maybe the trademark. Just look for the words gluten-free on the box. I've also been told that they are discontinuing the old Rice Chex that had barley malt. Again, I'm just passing along information and trying to cut down on the emails I'm getting about the product.
