One of our Alamo Celiac members has contacted me recently to ask about a
product she would like to take. She has just been diagnosed with another
autoimmune disease. if you know of anyone with dermatomyositis, or have
good information about Juice Plus, please let us know. I will summarize if
there is information to share. I think I have seen this product discussed
before, but not sure of the outcome. Any information you can share about
either of these topics will be appreciated. This person lives in a small
town, far from any large cities, so her shopping resources are limited.

Here is her note to me.

"I have been diagnosed with yet another rare autoimmune disorder called,
dermatomyositis.

I wanted to know if you or anyone has heard of a product called Juice Plus.
It contains capules of fruits, veggies, etc. They claim to be gluten-free
but do use oats....somehow after testing, it shows less than 10-20ppm of
gluten. Just wanted your opinion or others if anyone has tried it. Any
recommendations?"

Thank you,

Anne Barfield
