My husband was diagnosed with Celiac in Dec. and has been following the GF diet. His major symptom has disappeared (diarrhea) and his DH has improved. However he has developed two other troubling problems, namely night sweats and unexplained facial hair loss. Recent blood work has determined that he is slightly anemic and one thyroid function test was slightly elevated and the other normal. My questions are: Are either of these symptoms associated with Celiac? Has anyone else experienced either of these? If so, what did you do to alleviate your symptoms? Any information would be greatly appreciated as we are new to the Celiac world and being that we live in a rural area our health care options are now the greatest. Thanks in advance for your help!
