Hi Jerry and group;
Just wondering what you are planning to put on the tower and what kind of
uhf and vhf operation you are considering? If you will primarily be
operating fm you might consider a vertical on the house for hf and uhf and
use your long run of coax for the hf antennas where loss isn't as big a
factor.
The antenna is far more critical than the radio so that is the place to
spend the money.
Don't envy you digging for that tower.
