that would explain it.
this bloke I heard likes his dx and has his tx bandwidth audio so tight,
you'd be lucky to even be able to stick a word in it.
you know what a radio sounds like when it's suffering a slight bit of rf
feedback, and you're on the listening end of that, it sounds like this
bloke permenently has that going on, but I do know for a fact his signal
is squeaky clean. I'd say it's a combo of his voice, his mic and his
settings.
and it's the vsg1 that goes in the 480, you're absolutely right.
