Move to the desktop shortcut icon and type alt plus enter keys
Tab to the edit box for short cut key and try the key combination you want. Tab to OK and hit enter.
Does that revive your mind?

Subject: off topic: setting up shortcut key combinations
Hi, all.
Hate to bug you guys on the list about this, but I am away from home, and failed to bring my basic computer instruction cheat sheet. (grin)
Can someone quickly tell me how to make up short cut key combinations for a given program.
For some reason, on this laptop, my alt control I shortcut for internet explorer went away, and I want to re-instate it.
I just can't remember how to do it, although I know it's quite easy.
Sorry about this question, which I should know the answer to, but you know how the brain gets when you are on vacation. (grin)
