I don't use the lock pins, actually never got any with the lock pins, I just 
put a dab of glue on the power poles, where they slide together, just a dab 
at most, sometimes nothing since they usually slide together tight enough 
they won't come apart. If they're loose though or if they are on heavy cable 
with a mind of it's own, I put a little glue, slide them together and don't 
bother with the pins. A lot of places advise against using the pins.
