Hi John, Thanks for the short note. I do not even recall anymore the
link or how to get one of these. I was simply thinking for a tight
budget I might go for one of these as my VX5 is getting old and
cantacerous.

I'm using the puxing UHF version. I never did get the speech figured out
though. It works alright but looks like a toy. My next radio for GMRS
will be better than that, It's alright for the money though. I'd be
surprised if it would take heavy use though.
