For those not running quick mix I strongly recommend it. You can even put a 
shortcut in the start-up menu so that it activates on start-up to restore 
the settings  pronto. I have seen no less than 6 people have the volume 
levels  change for no reason that they could think of when they accidently 
leaned on the keyboard in the wrong way. It's a life saver.

Front only? there's no jacks on the back of your computer? That's unheard of
to me. Headphone jack yes, but there's always one on the back.
