Hi all,

Thanks to the generosity of a rig-rich friend, I'm about to acquire a Kenwood ts 830. 30 year old technology, of course, but in it's day, a highly regarded radio. I don't expect too much trouble mastering it since everything is hard-switched. But I know many of you have had experience with this time-honored workhorse and I'd be interested to hear any tips or other thoughts you might have regarding this rig. I've never really gotten to play with one for any length of time and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks in advance for any comments. Lou wa3mix
