Thanks for the great advice, and that is exactly what I'm thinking.
The radio itself is rather costly, plus I know I'll be wanting the CW and
SSB filters.
So, will wait to decide on the other device till I get the radio and see
what I can do with what's already there.
It will even be a while yet, till I can make the radio purchase.
