I certainly did with that thought in mind.  The radio itself is not out of the box or easily accessible 
but I may be able to find work arounds for some of the accessibility issues.

Hey Ray, did you get the programming software and cable with it so you can
program the d-star from your computer?  If so, let us know how the software
