Hi Eric, there's a radioshack scanner sirial control cable that'll work 
nicely with the 703&706 series of radios, I bought one earlier this year or 
last year now, anyway, RS was closing them out at 3.95 or so.  I'll try to 
find the email I sent the group re that cable.  If not you may find it in 
the archives of this group. Danny.
