Any experience with historic porcelain tubs? Seems like most of the acidic products eat up that stuff. Even most of the daily cleaners now have citric acid in them which eats away at it. I've ended up using a product called "Top Job" you can get at the big box across the street (Lowes) that instead says it has chelators, a mystery ingredient that doesn't eat the porcelain but also doesn't cut the rust stains.
dan i want to be sure i can clean off whatever is going to stick to me from one day being proximate to sheetmetal boars heads and not have it clinging to the tub becker
