Further to my message of yesterday, I forgot to mention that, if you 
have the original tuning knob, then each turn gives you 25 kcs.

At the ends there is a definite stop so you cannot turn the knob 
beyond that point so you will see it is easy to count and get close to 
the wanted frequency.
