it doesn't tell you the power level with the synth, but the power setting is
easy if you can count clicks.
The ts2000 has a detented selecter knob and you get into the RF power level
with a single on/off button.  The power control has a tone at the lowest and
highest settings of the range and the power goes up in 5 watt incraments.
So if you want to set the rig say to 50 watts on HF, you press the rf power
button, turn the selecter knob all the way anti-clockwise until you hear a
beep, and then, starting from the lowest power of 5 watts, count clicks up
to 50 watts.
Yes, the S meter is read by the synth.
