Mine the mic is already no good, the DTMF pad anyway and the fan is falling 
off the back of it. I'm thinking about putting it on packet though so at 
least with the dedicated packet port and the mic on it, I can also use it as 
a skywarn radio since the packet antenna is in the attic. I now use the 
TS-2000 for all bands and have enough 2 meter radios sitting around here if 
I ever need a backup, I'll find one pretty easy.
