Hey guys, just to set the record straight, it has affected RI.
One of my repeaters had to go off the air. In regards to machines with
coverage, that had nothing to do with it. There is a lot more than people
know about. Here's the basics of it though.
I'm a member of the newengland spectrum management council, and we had to
deal with this stuff. Although the military won't tell us much, we've made
a determination that it is frequency specific. Although we can't 100
percent prove it, it has nothing to do with coverage. Some prime coverage
machines idn't have to go off the air.
In the case of my repeaters, it's not the end of the world, cause I can
re-deploy the hardware at another sight.

RI as well has been affected and rumor is they're looking at 1 or 2 machines
in CT but I have nothing official on that. I'm still surprised the 440
machine with the best coverage in MA hasn't been touched yet when the
numbers indicate it should be, I"m wondering if they're just going after
everyone based on an older list at first and this one has only been up for
maybe a year now.
