Walt,
    You want menu 9 to change that one.  Apparently this radio does not use 
a standard connection for the speaker/mic.  I can use the radio as is, but 
due to my hearing, would prefer to have the sound go right into my ear.  I 
have a cochlear implant so those ear buds will not work for me.  Sigh. I 
need to get someone in my ham club to make an adapter so I can use anything 
at hand.
