Hi Martin,
The ic75 may suit your needs.

I've got one and I bbelieve it covers the FM mode.

I also like listening to ten meter FM when it's open.

The radio also has AGC that works well.

Think what I like most is the keypad for entering frequencies directly.

Also the rig can be equipped with speech readout.

Although I had heard somewhere that this rig was discontinued I believe 
Universal Radio still has a bunch in stock.

If I had it to do over again I'd probably get one from Gigaparts and have 
w4rt install the one board filter setup in the rig.
