Fred,
I think the usefulness of the meter far outweighs any movement problems.
You could clamp the coax a few inches behind the meter to the desk or
shelf, or even home brew a bracket or clamp to hold it if you really want
to.
I just put some slight bends in the coax. Nothing drastic, just enough to
put a set in the coax so that it wants to force the meter down flat and
there it stays.
BTW the TW-1 also covers 6 meters.
