Yep. And vfos came on line just as my Novice ticket was expiring. I
think I had a first batch of the two year tickets.

I was just telling a friend that I actually had to demonstrate my
ability to receive and send Morse with a straight key before a FCC
employee. He was Joe Welsh, K3CT (code test) at the Valley Forge office
