Yeah, I joined the yahoo group for the psr500 and the
list has been really
busy.  The scanner has been mostly very well received
but I don't know how
accessible it is.  The great feature is the cpu
firmware and dsp software
can be flashed to add new features or fix bugs.  There
have already been at
least 2 updates since the scanner came out a few weeks
ago.

They also have a new scanner out known as the PSR-500.
 It's brand new, and
I hear it is set up differently as far as programming
goes.  There are a few
options when it comes to software though.
