Depending on where you read, the ratings listed are between 20 and 25 amps.
I can honestly say, I have pulled, on a meter, 25 amp surges at events with
the 706 on it and a 2 meter radio transmitting at the same time and it
didn't complain. I'd go with the 23 amp rating on their web site but as I
said, more is possible if you need it, a bit. I don't make a habit of
pulling that much out of it, but for 1 HF rig and 1 duel bander, unless you
plan on talking on both on high power at the same time, it can make it.
