Before Katrina, older ham equipment, pretty much regardless of condition,
often sold faster than equipment less than 15 years old. During our 2 fests
since Katrina, almost any HF equipment moved well.

While we don't totally promote our event as a "boat anchor" show, we don't
hide the fact that many classic gear operators and vendors attend.
Of course, there's a fine line between "classic," and "certifiable junk."
Any ham fest has it's share of the latter, as does any other flea market of
any kind.
