We have vista on one box but I wont be putting on the other boxes I frankly
don't like it when XP becomes too outdated its linux for me. Too much DRM
and control from microdoller for me

Actually, windows live is different from windows mail. Windows mail
is what replaced outlook express. It's not that different from
express except for a few enhancements. I use it all the time here
and am writing this message using windows mail.
I haven't checked out windows live but believe it is a messaging
program rather than an email program, but I could certainly be wrong
about that. I have more than enough microsoft stuff to keep me
occupied as it is. <grin>
