Maplin in the uk do a nice range of these chargers I think up to about 3amp
not the plug in wall but they have a lead and plug not sure what the US name
for maplin is maybe radio shack.

What I find with those adjustable ones too is, if you turn up the voltage on
it, you lose current, I've burnt a couple of them up over the years good
which is why I never use them anymore. Melted 1 of them real bad it got so
hot. Thing is, it should have easily handled what it was doing.
