I agree with Buddy on this one.  In one word, great!!

With the new 80/30 board, you have nearly general coverage recieve 
from 3.5 to 15 or 16 megahertz.  all menu items are accessible with cw.
The tuner is optimized for short random wires.  I use about 25 to 30 
feet of wire strung on a fiberglass telescoping crappy pole, with 
about that much laid on the ground for a counterpoise.  Works great 
on 40, 30, and 20 meters.

Haven't got the 80/30 board built or installed yet, but expect good 
things from it.
If you like portable qrp cw, you won't be disappointed in the kx1.
