Hi all:
Has anyone on the list ever been to the seeing eye and used the ham station
they have set up there?
I understand it contains a tm v7A and a ts570 with a dipole on the roof for
HF.
I am wondering how well the HF station, or the 2m/70CM station performs
there.
I am going for a dog at the end of April.
Also, does anyone know of any echolink/IRLP nodes on simplex that are
located within 2M or 70CM range of the morse town training facility?
I ask because I intend to set up an echolink node at my home qth which will
be on a popular local simplex freq and I want to be able to link back either
via the school's radio, or via my HT or if all else fails, via the computer.
The computer might be a difficult undertaking since firewalls need to be
configured for those specific ports, and networks are often difficult to get
ports forwarded bassed on an individuals needs.
If anyone has a listing of repeaters or node frequencies that are within
range of moris town NJ, could you please send them my way.
