It is always interesting how the "divine blessing" theology is one of a
vacuum with the pew sitters facing the end of the hose, and the ministry
holding the dust bag. I got me one of those shop vacs where yu can plug the
hose in the blowing end, would be good if that happened once and a while
:). I do believe God blesses for our giving, but, and I got a fat but on
this :), he isn't obligated to give it now, in the same form, or as you
might like. I've been blessed with grace, finances when it was imperitively
needed, in opportunities which I needed to take an action, with various
things, but I never give with hands rubbing over the collection plate. I
figure its all Gods anyway, I'm fortunate enough he's given me a place to
live, food to eat, money for bills, air to breathe and water to drink. The
scripture that speaks loudest to me in this is...

"Two things I asked of You, Do not refuse me before I die: Keep deception
and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the
food that is my portion, That I not be full and deny You and say, "Who is
the LORD?" Or that I not be in want and steal, Annd profane the name of my
God. Prov 30:7-10
