Our daughter-in-law has a very gravely ill step dad.  His name is Alan Rice; 
he became very ill about 4 weeks ago with respiratory/GI complaints. 
Finally, a week ago Saturday, he was getting worse and worse and all the 
regular doc was doing was sending him home.  I finally talked to them and 
said that he needed to go to the ER as he is diabetic and diabetics cannot 
take this serious illness.  They took him a week ago Saturday.  As of today, 
he has had lung biopsies and they cannot get him off the ventilator right 
now.  It is really serious and please pray.
