ask you to be so kind as to handle it.

Sashka, Lisa's daughter, just left here. we got the terrible news
around 9 this morning that surgery is canceled because the biopsy
came back malignant. I guess I knew it all along, but hope and denial
are a mighty combination.
her liver and pancreas are both involved.
as you may know, pancreatic cancer is one of the most ferocious
cancers, and also most painful.
I am so heart sick, Phil, and continue to pray for our dear friend.
will you please let the list know? also, Sashka and I will deal with
the list admin business at a more appropriate time.
the list is very important to Lisa, and this is just a little thing I
can do for her at this time. please let me know you received this email.
there is a chance Lisa may regain mental clarity after a procedure is
completed tomorrow that the doctors hope will allow them to reduce
her medication levels.
at present she is really out of it, and the meds are not keeping her
totally pain free.
