I have both a 480 and a 2000.  I would concur that the 480 is the more
accessible of the two radios, at least in ease of use.  There is room for
the two filters in it, I have them in mine.  I do think both the transmit
and receive audio from the TS-2000 is better than the 480 but it is no
slouch either.

Although I don't own one I have done a bit of investigating and I believe
there is room for both the cw filter and the 1.8 ssb filter.
