To tell you the truth, I suspect that we are looking at the beginning of 
the end of 70 cm.  As the DOD develops new technology, I think the sharing 
arrangement for 70 cm is going to get more and more strained until the FCC 
finally closes the band down.  It's a shame, but I can see it coming a mile 
away.
